Ikabod is a full body Inverse Kinematics solver for bipeds.

Currently available for Unreal Engine as a simple to integrate plugin it can be used for a variety of purposes

  • Representing VR and AR users as full body avatars by mapping physical controller and headset positions to a full avatar with feet, knees and elbows
  • Correcting animations in real-time for things like foot placement on uneven surfaces or enabling AI driven characters to realistically reach for objects
  • Reducing the requirement for custom animations in many situations by letting our solver procedurally generate character poses

The plugin features very high real-time performance and is integrated efficiently into the Unreal Engine animation pipeline.
