Spaceteam VR Community Manager

Full time, 6mth contract (with a possibility of being permanent), up to £22k (Dependant on Experience) pa working in our studio in central Leeds, UK.

We’re looking for a Community Manager to work on our upcoming release Spaceteam VR, to build, engage and listen to a community of players. You will act as a voice for the team in public and be an advocate/voice for the community in the studio.


Working directly with the marketing team to create and share content about the game in the run up to and after the launch of the game.

Starting, supporting, and moderating conversations on our social media channels such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Discord, etc.

Organising key distribution, early access and testing.

Working with the marketing team to keep all store and online presences relevant to Spaceteam VR up to date.

Tracking and reporting community conversations, activity and feelings to the dev team.

Driving wish list, follows and sales performance.

Ensuring our spaceship doesn’t explode (too much).



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised plate spinning.
  • Adaptable, flexible and creative.
  • Social media and online communications.
  • Meme literate.
  • Experience managing/working with communities.


  • A passion for VR games.
  • Able to demo VR.
  • Comfortable speaking in public.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel.
  • Have played Spaceteam before.
  • GSOH.

Nice to have

  • Video and/or image editing/creation.
  • Experience of space travel.
