Full time, up to £50k (Dependant on Experience) pa working in our studio in central Leeds, UK.

We are looking for an experienced Unreal Engine developer to work across our immersive technology, tools, games, experiences and applications.

The ideal candidate will be able to set a high bar for quality and be as open to teaching as they are to learn. You will have a deep love for problem solving and experience driving optimisation for the latest immersive headsets. You’ll be involved with planning, designing and implementing solutions for a wide variety of technical problems. Working with the whole team in order to develop technology solutions, including Unreal Engine Plugins, multiplayer immersive games and work with our clients on projects from architecture to motorsport. As well as all this we’ve several research and development projects exploring how immersive will be the future of work and play.



  • High proficiency of C++ and/or C#.
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine including an understanding of the underlying engine architecture.
  • Familiarity with the render pipeline and authoring workflow.
  • An understanding of performance considerations; able to use a range of profiling and debugging tools to identify and fix performance issues.


  • SCRUM / Agile development workflow principles
  • Version control software such as SVN
  • At least one shipped game to your name.
  • Good knowledge of VR and AR design principles.
  • Knowledge of or experience using toolchains, build systems, development tools and platform APIs, as well as the broader Android or iOS platform ecosystem.


  • Experience of shipping a VR project.
  • A love for cooperative gaming and experience with multiplayer functionality.
  • A drive for continuous professional development.
  • A passion for cutting edge technology, and willingness to explore new skills and techniques.
  • Experience of space travel.
