Quality Assurance / Assistant Producer

Full time, 6mth contract (with a possibility of being permanent), up to £22k (Dependant on Experience) pa working in our studio in central Leeds, UK.

We are looking for tester with an interest in games and immersive production to assist the team with the launch and on-going support for our game Spaceteam VR as well as working on future productions, funding dependant.

You’ll be leading the QA in the studio with the internal dev team, external QA and public beta testers. You’ll be assisting the studio directors and production team with submissions and management of issue backlogs and builds.


Ensure the quality and reliability of the game.

Ensure we meet requirements for hardware partners and online stores.

Devise and deliver test plans to ensure everything is functioning as designed.

Deliver bug reports, explaining issues, their context along with all required information.

Work with the development team to gain a full understanding of all elements, features and intended design of the game in order to test thoroughly.

Work with the Senior management team to understand the business needs and player needs in order to test for these

Working with Community Manager to organise and manage public multiplayer testing.

Organise and manage external QA testing team.



  • Good standard of English and great communication.
  • Organised planner with attention to detail.
  • Multitasking and working to deadlines.


  • Experience with issue tracking software and QA planning and process.
  • Interest in game production.
  • Interest in VR and immersive technologies.

Nice to have

  • Experience of store submission processes (i.e. PS4, STEAM).
  • Experience of taking a project through to release.
  • Interest in production pipeline and process management.
  • A love for cooperative gaming.
  • Experience of space travel.
